LE SCRIBOUILLE DU TRAMEUR :

"Salam Ahmad, un peintre revenu de l'enfer..."

Salam Ahamd ne tiens aucun discours de type technocrate de la communication qui aurait correctement appris sa leçàn dans une école dite "d'Art", sa peinture ne cultive aucune vaine virtuosité qui fait les faiseurs mais pas les artistes, Salam ne peind pas les bâtiment détruits ou les habituels clichés guerriers des peintures d'histoire qui hantent nos musées ... Chez Salam, au Kurdistan syrien y a t-il encore des musées ?

D'ordinaire, je suis peu attiré par les portraits, les bouquets de fleurs et d'une manière générale méfiant aux abords des peintures figuratives par peur sans doute d'y trouver la noirceur du monde, la destruction etc...

Salam Ahmad pense que la peinture et la musiques sont des languages "universels", pour ma part, je se sait... J'obeterais pour le cinéma, les languages visuels da la peinture sont pour moi autres, plus proches souvent d'une écriture... Et la musique d'une magie dont je ne trouve aucun adjectif ou qualificatif ou autre mot adéquat pour la définir...

Salam peind ceux et ce qu'il a vu mais d'une façon sincère, non-"esthétisante". Il cherche le tréfond de l'âme humaine pour en percer le mystère ? Peut-être...

Ahmad peind sa douleur, celle de ceux qu'il peind, la même ou presque, eux ne sont plus là mais leurs portrait témoigne qu'un jour il ont été, sont et serons ...

Ici l'enveloppe charnelle d'un visage, là les endoits vus, vécus et aussi des fleurs comme en prières et regrets, offrandes et cierges végétaux ...

La joie perdue, la nostalgie d'un paradis perdu ? Aussi la paleurs des figures livides mais encore expessives, pas tout a fait défuntes comme un regard mémorisé d'un être dont on apprend la disparition et dont la persitance de la mémoire nous donne à penser ou a sentir qu'il n'en est peut-être rien, que tout cela est faux comme un cauchemar... Pourtant...

Cette joie perdue, cette douleur Salam Ahmad nous en donne la forme avec l'économie de moyen d'un peu d'eau, de peinture et de papier : Précieuses matières pour le peintre en exil qui doit se battre pur sa survie et celle de ses proches quand il le peut... Et c'est aussi pour cela aussi qu'il faut montrer les peintures d'Ahamad car dieu sait de quels prodige un peintre d'une telle sincérité est capable si il retrouve espoir et soutien, de quellles merveilles in nous remercira au délà de sa simple présence ( Celle de celui venu d'aiileurs nous parler d'un autre monde)... Salam Ahamd est Kurde, un peuple épris de liberté et subissant depuis plusieurs générations les persécutions des tyrans des quatres nations auxquels il ne veulent olus appartenir. Les Kurdes ont pris le chemins de la liberté, les peintres aussi, ils savent que c'est un chemin sans retour, sans concessions et bien là, dans ces libertés prises, dans ces figures, ce language, nous nous comprenons. A vous de regarder et/ou voir...

AVERTISSEMENT :

Ce film est la vision du vidéaste et n'engage en rien la démarche de l'artiste dont les oeuvres sont le sujet et le mobile de ce petit film. C'est une interprétation personnelle et rien de plus. Le mystère reste entier.

Salam Ahmad est exilé du Kurdistan Syrien et réfugié en Suisse d'où il ne peut sortir. Ce pays est devenu pour lui à la fois un refuge et une prison. Salam Ahmad & Olivier Fouchard ne se connaissent que par l'intermédiaire de réseaux sociaux et de visio-conférences et ce film a pu être réalisé que grâce a une complicité et une confiance mutuelle. Les deux complices n'ayant pas non plus assez d'argent pour se rencontrer en Suisse ils se considèrent pour le moment tous deux économiquement assignés à résidences : On appelle çà "la vie d'Artistes" …

Salam Ahamd does not hold any speech of technocratic type of communication who would have correctly learned his lesson in a school called "Art", his painting does not cultivate any vain virtuosity that makes the makers but not the artists, Salam do not paint the building destroyed or the usual clichés warrior paintings history that haunt our museums ... At Salam, in Syrian Kurdistan are there even museums?

Usually, I am not attracted by portraits, bouquets of flowers and generally suspicious around the figurative paintings for fear probably to find the darkness of the world, destruction etc ...

Salam Ahmad thinks that painting and music are "universal" languages, for my part, I know myself ... I would obey for the cinema, the visual languages ​​of painting are for me others, often closer to a writing ... And the music of a magic of which I do not find any adjective or qualifier or other suitable word to define it ...

Salam paints those and what he saw but in a sincere, non-aesthetic way. He seeks the depth of the human soul to unravel the mystery? Perhaps...

Ahmad pain his pain, that of those he paints, the same or almost, they are no longer there but their portraits testify that one day they were, are and will be ...

Here the carnal envelope of a face, there the endoits seen, lived and also flowers as in prayers and regrets, offerings and vegetable candles ...

Lost joy, nostalgia for a lost paradise? Also the paleness of the livid but still expulsive figures, not quite defunct like a memorized look of a being whose disappearance we learn and whose persistence of memory gives us to think or feel that it is impossible to be nothing, that all this is false as a nightmare ... Yet ...

This lost joy, this pain Salam Ahmad gives us the form with the economy of means of a little water, paint and paper: precious material for the painter in exile who must fight for his survival and that of his relatives when he can ... And this is also why we must show the paintings of Ahamad because god knows what prodigy a painter of such sincerity is able if he finds hope and support, what the wonders in us will thank beyond his mere presence (that of the one come from aiileurs tell us about another world) ... Salam Ahamd is Kurdish, a people loving freedom and suffering for several generations the persecutions of the tyrants of the four nations to which he does not wish to belong. The Kurds have taken the road of freedom, the painters too, they know that it is a path without return, without concession and there, in these freedoms taken, in these figures, this language, we understand each other. It's up to you to watch and / or see ...

Salam Ahmad is exiled from Syrian Kurdistan and taken refuge in Switzerland from where he can not go out. This country has become for him both a refuge and a prison. Salam Ahmad & Olivier Fouchard know each other only through social networks and videoconferences and this film has been realized thanks to a complicity and mutual trust. The two accomplices also do not have enough money to meet in Switzerland they consider for the moment both economically assigned to residences: This is called "the life of Artists"

L'art de supporter l'insupportable

Salam, Lamen, Rudy, Rosselle. Un père,une mère, deux enfants de quatre et sept ans. Une famille kurde de Syrie qui a pu fuir en Suisse voici une année et qui attend maintenant la décision du Secrétariat d'État aux Migrations SEM à Wangen près d'Olten. Le père est artiste, la mère avocate.
